This bed is puncture resistant and made of thicker PVC material than a lot of competing air mattresses and because of this it does add extra weight yet it also keeps the bed from puncture problems and possible deflation problems. The price is a little more than competing beds and that is simply because more goes into the Wenzel Insta-bed. More cambers give more support on your body and from issues with roll off. The grip bottom is necessary for any hardwood or tile floor since others will move and slide with the slightest touch. Integrated high powered air pump makes inflation and deflation very simple and fast as long as easy to move about and never loses your pump.

The Wenzel Insta-Bed is fading the separation between Inflatable and Coil Spring traditional mattresses. When we received this mattress our first thought were if it would be a better by than some of the lesser expensive inflatable mattresses. It actually surprised us with its results. It did very well at tackling our different tests such as the puncture test, weight test, and long term test. We did however find a design flaw that can make some people saw it as an annoyance. The Wenzel Bed is separate chamber inflatable system and can bulge in the middle when under pressure and cause the deep pocket fitted sheets to pop up and come undone. This is a very minor problem but we had to write something negative since we are a review site. Other than that the bed is a high ranking product which we also highly recommend. The bed left us with a nice sleep and felt less like sleeping on a pool floatable. The bed has a nice topping and the anti-slid skid bottom is perfect for putting on a hardwood or tile floor. The integrated air pump was put through the paces and turned out to be an overall stable and reliable motor that held up to hours of our childlike abuse. The side support is good although I do prefer the raised sides of the Intex twin bed as the best on the market but I understand why they didn’t do that on a queen. I recommend this mattress and believe that this will be a best seller.

Intex Deluxe Pillow Rest Rising Comfort Twin – Review

The Intex Deluxe Comfort Twin is a second generation to Intex inflatable mattresses. It is easy to see that they got their act together on redesigning this latest bed. Previous Intex beds were like most inflatable beds and if you got near the edge you were already on the floor. This bed has raised sides which makes all the difference in the world when it comes to stability. The raised pillow area works great and I figured I would disapprove of it yet it comes in handy and make sure and keeps your torso elevated if you like to sleep with the air pressure low. The integrated pump is very simple to use and after our long term testing held up very well under stresses such as leaving it running for much longer than intended as well as multiple on/off switches trying to wear out the motor which showed to hold up very well. The areas of support such as beams and bottom seemed to be well engineered to handle even a heavier adult that can be tossing and turning. Overall I think the Intex Deluxe Pillow Rest Rising Comfort Twin is a step forward and is obviously a product of intended development for a better product. If you need a bed that can easily be stored away and save space when not in use than you will enjoy this bet. The overall cost is low with the built in pump and from our tests showed to be a good buy and should last you for future years.

The Intex first generation bed was kind of a last resort if you had guests coming into town. This new generation air mattress is so good that husbands and wives will be fighting to get kicked out of the master bedroom so they can sleep on one. I personally have a bad back and wake up every morning in pain and with tight lower back muscles. When I tested the Intex Queen I played with the setting every night and found that a medium pressure kept a bit of lumbar support on my back and kept me from tossing and turning all night and I woke up feeling great. It has held up to long term tests and the motor has been subject to many hours of abuse and has done well and not show any signs of going out. I think that Intex has a good quality product on their hands and I would like to how their sales go over since this is a great inexpensive way to be able to select your pressure while sleeping. If you plan on using this in a cold environment than stock up on blankets because air mattresses don’t warm up to you like a conventional mattress does since it has the pocket of air staying at that temperature. This is something common with all air mattresses. This product stood up very well to puncture tests as well as weight tests and I truly believe that they will sell a lot of these beds with some people using these as a permanent bed.

The first thing you think of when buying this is why it is so inexpensive in price. It really is a great overall price for a Queen sized durable mattress. You will notice that It does not have a built in air pump which can be a good and bad thing. We took our test model camping where we needed a 12V air pump anyways so I was glad it didn’t have the built in pump. The mattress was overall light in weight for a queen. Its thickness is better than expected and did perfect on our sharp objects testing. The bed had support even in the middle and felt good during the night’s sleep on it. A problem we ran into was that this bed was more of a full size bed therefore did better with full sized sheets than Queen sized. The sheets we used were baggy and often came off, but once we switched over to smaller full sized sheets it took care of the issue. Overall Coleman has built another product that will continue to help out campers in need of a good night’s rest. So if you need a strong bed that will last you more than one outing than look into this one.

Coleman 4-in-1 Quickbed- Review

Coleman has always been a company that I find myself using their gear more and more especially for the basics for camping and other outdoor activities. Coleman has always been a company that is innovative and that’s what I like about them. The 4-in-1 is very good about being versatile and meets your different needs that may occur. If you do some car camping you will enjoy this air mattress as well thanks to its multi-functions. The price is low enough that you won’t have to fork over a small fortune for a bed for your guest room. With the 4-in-1 you can simply hide it in the closet and save the space for other things. We liked the Coleman 4-in-1 due to the fact that it rolled up nice and small and only weighed in around twelve pounds making it portable for transport. The construction seemed solid and designed to last thanks to the double trap air system and the material was resistant to our attacks with sharp objects test. One possible downside is that the Coleman 4-in1 does not have a built-in pump incorporated in it making for the need for one. With it not having one than that means you need to purchase one which is not always a bad thing especially if you need one with a 12V car power source if you plan to use it for travel and camping. Overall good choice and I think you will appreciate the “Transformer” mattress.

Aerobed Guest Choice Queen Sized Inflatable Bed – Reviews

The Aero bed came into out shop in smaller than expected box and weighed less than we expected. Once the Aerobed was opened it is easily inflated and we found that the inflation time was very quick and easy. The construction of the fed looks like it was engineered correctly to stop slow leaks and middle sag. Once our tester slept on it they gave it good marks for overall feel and comfort, great marks for ease of use, and liked how fast it deflated as well as how it was light weight and stored easy making it a great travel bed. We didn’t find any flaws with our test model and really liked it for its design. We noticed that some customers on Amazon had given it low marks and mainly because of the smell. This made us laugh because that seems preposterous. This bed is built in a factory where PVC material which does have a smell to it and the bed is freshly boxed where it sits and ships for who knows how long till it arrive on your doorstep. Yes it can give off a unique smell but I would much rather smell it than what the bed will smell like after the first person sleeps on it. This is a great choice for mobility, storage and comfort. If you are looking to just replace a full bed than look at the double chambered models like the Intex Dual Chamber beds.
