The Intex first generation bed was kind of a last resort if you had guests coming into town. This new generation air mattress is so good that husbands and wives will be fighting to get kicked out of the master bedroom so they can sleep on one. I personally have a bad back and wake up every morning in pain and with tight lower back muscles. When I tested the Intex Queen I played with the setting every night and found that a medium pressure kept a bit of lumbar support on my back and kept me from tossing and turning all night and I woke up feeling great. It has held up to long term tests and the motor has been subject to many hours of abuse and has done well and not show any signs of going out. I think that Intex has a good quality product on their hands and I would like to how their sales go over since this is a great inexpensive way to be able to select your pressure while sleeping. If you plan on using this in a cold environment than stock up on blankets because air mattresses don’t warm up to you like a conventional mattress does since it has the pocket of air staying at that temperature. This is something common with all air mattresses.
